iPad 4 Compatible Home Button Flex

The iPad 4 compatible home button flex, is a departure from the older iPad 2 and 3 designs where the home button flex touches contacts on the 30 pin connector, because the charge port in the iPad 4 was changed to the smaller lightning port. So the home button was placed on a flex that connects via if zif connector on the logic board. Issues with the home button, are usually related to this flex, or the zif connector the flex is however the easier of the 2 to replace.
